Are you a fan of SNK? Well this will work for you. Another interesting portable will relinquish your addicted hands, a Neo Geo Portable (not the official name but stated as an initial name of Famicom Plaza Blog). As an initial portable specification, it has a 4.3-inch LCD display, in-built 2GB memory, an SD card slot (not specifically stated the maximum SD space size), 2200 mAh battery and 20 preloaded games which I will share it later.
As we look back on the SNK portable release, it’s been a decade of pushing and pulling if SNK may have a competition with the GameBoy series, that’s 1998 by the way but because of the unpopularity of the brand, it was released on Japan and Hongkong only so not a fail release but not cascaded like the GameBoy’s marketing strategy. After that, a release in 1999, which is the Neo Geo Pocket Color (GameBoy Color competition) but didn’t make it to the finals or should I say units were pulled out.
But it might be a deal today coz’ a lot of gamers are all on the retro games just like Kotaku’s promotion and also Nintendo consider bringing some of the popular Famicom games like Urban Champions etc. so why not giving this portable a chance to shine? I hope this may fit my budget. Anyway, sharing the list of games on hand. So here are the preloaded games of the new Neo Geo Portable in alphabetical order:
